Time for us to read some folktales from some of these different countries. Click on the link below to go to a site where you can choose two folktales to read. Once you have read the folktale you need to come back to the blog and post a comment.

1) The folktale you read
2) What happened in the beginning
3) What lesson was learned
4) What happened at the end

I read The Jakle and the Leaperd. It was about a Leaperd who wanted a cow so she took a calf from the Jackle. so everyone was afraid of her so they wanted her to get it or shell be angrey with them. But Baboon and Jackle were not afraid of her. The leson was never lie. I liked it because they made Leaperd go away.
The story that I read was analys and firefly.I liked it alot.I liked the part where analys learned his lesson.His lesson was If you be greedy you wont have any friends.It was about firefly invited analys over and it was a disaster.Because analys was greedy of having all the eggs.And at the lions house he was complaining about the dog fleas.Then he got left outside with no friends or anything to do.
Dear Mrs.Thompsen my faveret story is Monkey trobel!!I did laern a leson thouwe it was if you finde something that doesn`t belong to you give it back.
I liked Anni & Turtle.The lesson
is to share.I think the illustrator put in good pictures.
I read tiger and the big wind.It was about a tiger who didn't share his pears.But the rabbit played a trick on the tiger and shared the pears.The lesson is to share.If you dodn't,bad things will happen to you.I like this book because it teaches a good lesson.
I read How the kangaroo got is tail! The kangaroo was mean to everyone. He learned that he would git his tail! He started being nice. I like it beacuse, it was the best story I ever read!
I liked how the monkey and crokadial were comodacading
I read The little lost bear. The little bear lost its mommy. The little bear learned never run away! Then he found her mommy.
I loved it beacuse, it was so touching and I was about to cry!
I read big turtle. A girl was lost. Never run away from your daddy! She found her daddy. I loved it because,It told me never to do that.
i read the kangaroo who didn't have a long tail. a wonbher at and a kangaroo were playing with eachother and were best friends. to be nice to each other. kangaroo had to sleep outside in cold and rainny weather. i liked the story because it was cool and funny.
I read how the tortise got his shell and it all started in a race he had no shell in the beginng but a old brown back he had sunburn he fell on a rock in pain he sceamed because the rock was stuck but the hare said it will keep you from getting sunburn!
